Our voting form was opened globally in Spring 2023, and we invited our 180,000 worldwide readership to nominate and circulate voting details. All nominees via the voting form are contacted to ask permission to continue our research and judging phases. All candidates that have been nominated for the program have either been put forward by Global Business Insight (these tend to be firms that we have worked with our profiled recently), or via a third party via our online voting form. Self-nominations are also accepted. At the point of nomination, we do not ask the individual filling in the form to disclose their details. Tried and tested over the years, we have found that response rates shoot up when the process remains anonymous. Because of this, we do not use the total number of votes as a factor in determining the winners.

If a nomination is successfully accepted, the proposed party will join a shortlist. These shortlisted organisations or individuals are then encouraged to make a submission of any material that supports their nomination by way of an optional questionnaire. This affords an ideal opportunity to tender any evidence or information that is relevant to your nomination and that you’d like to be considered by our judging panel. Combined with these submission our in-house research teams will begin their extensive investigations on the shortlisted parties via online sources, this will include but not be limited to, identifying relevant public information on domain sources such as client and customer testimonials, press releases and significant social media activity.

The judges of the 2025 Global Business Insight Awards are highly experienced and diverse; the panel are made up of transnational and multi-lingual appointed individuals whose backgrounds span a host of different disciplines such as European languages, journalism, history, media and not least business. Headed up by an experienced academic leader of international schooling, who boasts years of coaching practice and is well-informed in research practices and the verification of facts and facilitation, the panel are able to run efficiently and dependably, ultimately ensuring the weight of these awards.

There are no monetary costs involved in accepting a nomination, nor winning an award, the only cost is your time. Our expert and highly skilled editorial team are tasked with producing an exclusive annual award winner’s magazine to which inclusion is optional. There are a host of complimentary commemoration items afforded to all winners ensuring that irrespective of budget or company policy, the awards itself and our official stamp of approval can be taken full advantage of.
